This quarter was my first quarter exploring the courses offered under my newly declared major - Information Systems! Through these courses, namely I S 320, I had my first introduction to Python.

While I'd been longing to learn Python for years, I had never had the opportunity or time to do so on the side. Thus, I was elated to not only have the opportunity to learn it, but do so under the context of business applications and uses!

Pictured to the left is one of my first assignments where I got the opportunity to apply what I was learning. The instructions were to create a simple model that would output total calories, given certain weights of portions of your meal! While lean in nature, the model was an absolute blast to make and helped assured me of my decision to major in information systems.
