Play Mariners, go ball

An image of me and four of my friends at one of our first Mariners games of the season!

Coming into college, if you would have told me I'd become a baseball fan, I would have thought you were crazy, but here we are! Granted, I'm not the super fan some of my friends might be, but I've grown to appreciate the hustle and silence of the sport.

Initially I would attend games because my friends were fans and I had "severe FOMO". However, soon me attending became not just a social endeavor to support me friends, but also one I was equally excited about.

The overpriced hot dogs (5/10 at best) and ice cream in a cap were two of my most favorite things from the stadium and both, while arguably pretty "mid", things I will miss dearly when I move.

Becoming a baseball fan has oddly taught me so much about patience - sometimes good things must come after you wait. Not everything needs to be hustle and bustle all the time to be good - sometimes you can find refuge and peace in the silence.
