Hej, Jeg Hedder Casey!

Hi, my name is Casey!

If you've scrolled this far into my portfolio, chances are you already know me, but if not, let me take a moment to introduce myself!

Hi, my name is Casey Gibb and I'm a rising senior at the University of Washington in Seattle (go dawgs)! I'm studying information systems, operations, and supply chain management at the Foster School of Business and am also an Interdisciplinary Honors student too! When I'm not contemplating whether Mt. Rainier is too beautiful to be real, you can find me hoping around campus, at a coffee shop, (soon to be) teaching Honors 100, or at RUF!

So, why denmark?

I've probably been asked this question about a billion times by now, and yet somehow it is always different. Truth be told, I've always wanted to explore Copenhagen, but never had a set, definite reason why, over every other European country, Denmark was always at the top of my list.

Maybe it's the environmentally friendly mindset that it's cities have adopted - caring for the one earth we've been undeservingly given has always had a deep sense on importance in my heart.

Maybe it's the architecture and city scape - colorful buildings, rolling waters, and splashes of greenery making the industrial complex of urban life a bit more tolerable.

Maybe it's the lifestyle and life philosophy of hygge that Danish are famous for embodying - finding comfort and coziness in the people, places, and relationships you choose to surround yourself with.

Perhaps this month-long journey will reveal the true reason I've desired to visit for as long as I can remember.

What now?

Well, Denmark, of course! Stay tuned for all the adventure and excitement that's to come...

:)
